Welcome to our online shop

Silver Stream is an online shop specializing in selling products specific to
discus, tropical fish and shrimps. These include livestock and products
such as medication and foods.

Silversteam’s livestock hatchery is situated in the East of Pretoria and local courier is available to major and smaller city centres.

Silverstream is also home to Discus Divana’s discus fish hatchery. Nelize, the owner of Discus Divana PTY Ltd, decided to open an online shop dedicated to
the specific needs of discus, angels and shrimps, or specific hardware requested by the public.

What are your payment methods for my order?

Can I contact you for advice regarding keeping discus fish?

Yes, Divana would gladly help her clients with the correct water perimetres, feeding regime and any questions related to diseases and general behavior of discus fish. Nelize can send you FAQ information via whatsapp/email on many common and rarer discus questions and assist you telephonically with any existing disease ailments with your current discus. You are also welcome to visit Discus Divana’s youtube channel for information on her setup and general discus keeping topics.

Do you provide refunds on livestock deaths, or have a DOA policy?

Generally there is no refund on livestock in the aquatic industry, except for imported fish there are 24 hour claims for dead-on-arrival fish. However, if a bag is leaking, a photo must be provided of the dead fish inside the package and we can refund if any error has occurred from our side. If your package has been severely damaged externally, we do not take responsibility for the damage from courier services, however we can follow up with the courier company on losses and claims if the problem has occurred on their side. We are also not responsible for any delays on flights that may occur as these circumstances are out of our control. Divana also does not ship any discus fish above the size of 10cm, as the risk of death during transport increases the larger they become.
